The system is set to go off at dawn and dusk mostly. Then overnight for spider control.

These photo were taken years ago in Florida when I was running my own mosquito misting dealership. Hard to believe how young I looked back then.

I originally got started installing mosquito misting systems in Houston with Town & Country Mosquito Systems — which later became MistAway Systems.

After a lot of installs and industry experience — including opening and selling my own dealership in Florida and later working directly with MistAway — I eventually brought all of that back to Ohio.

I’ve been operating Far Hills Pest Control since the early 2000s, and this season we’re putting automated mosquito misting systems back at the front of what we do.

Over the next couple of months, I’ll be sharing more about how these systems work and why they’ve become such a reliable long-term solution compared to temporary fogging.

Take a look at some old picture. The blue drums are what systems used to look like. MistAway System units look a lot better now day I assure you!

Yesterday day we were lucky enough to beat the rain and get this shed installed with material to keep groundhogs out. Additionally we watched them exit using a one way day. I just stopped by and hat groundhog tried digging at all areas and was unsuccessful at by passing our work. We will return again kncw the rain stops to seal that one way door location.

Here is a clip (no audio) of a few ants communicating and maybe sharing some grub. I was able to video them running along a wooden privacy fence. Note there is no snow on the fence and I bet you it was a lot warmer than it is today. Either way when providing a pest inspection during a service call you bet we will will look at all areas to help control these guys. Drop in and see how things get done on their level.
