FUN FACT: Mature boars have a shoulder plate on their body designed to protect their vital organs while fighting with other mature boars.

This was a large boar we trapped recently that was covered with heavy scarring from fighting. While their shoulder plates do a great job protecting them during a fight, it was no match for us as this guy didn’t make it through the first round. 🐗🥊

Sometimes these things take a whoopin from the bigger pigs. We constantly check our equipment to make sure it is functioning at its best, and if we see something, we are quick to repair it and get it back out there as soon as we can.
