🧣❤️ The blankets are rolling in! ❤️🧣

Our Blanket Share drive at Laundry on Elm is off to a lovely start! We’ve already collected and laundered more than 50 blankets, and they’re ready for pickup by Another Way.

(Please see the comments for our poster with all the drop-off and pickup information.)

A heartfelt 🤗THANK YOU🤗 to everyone who has donated so far! It means so much to see our community coming together to help keep others warm and comfortable.

We’re so grateful for every blanket donated, and we’d love to keep the collection growing. If you have a new or gently used blanket to share, we’d be happy to receive it.

Let’s keep this going and together - keep Montpelier warm! 🫶

🧣❤️ BLANKET SHARE IS BACK, MONTPELIER! ❤️🧣

Remember how our community came together last winter to help keep our neighbors warm? We’re doing it again! 🥰

We’re excited to bring back the Elm Street Blanket Share, and this year we’re teaming up with Another Way Community Center to help get clean, warm blankets to people who need them.

Here’s how you can be part of it:

🧺 GIVE: Bring new or gently used blankets to Laundry on Elm at 54 Elm Street. We’ll wash and prepare every donated blanket before it’s shared.

❤️ SHARE: Spread the word! Tell your friends, family, and neighbors. Every blanket and every share can make a difference.

🤗 RECEIVE: Need a blanket this winter? Clean blankets will be available at Another Way Community Center, 125 Barre Street.

📍 Blanket donations: Laundry on Elm, 54 Elm Street
🕕 Every day, 6 AM–noon

📍 Blanket pickup: Another Way, 125 Barre Street
🕙 Every day, 10 AM–4 PM

A warm blanket may seem like a small thing, but on a cold Vermont night, it can mean so much. Let's keep looking out for one another and make sure our neighbors don't have to face the cold alone. ❤️

Montpelier, let's make Blanket Share another success! Please share this post and help spread the warmth! 🧡🧣

📢 ATTENTION LAUNDRY ON ELM FRIENDS 📢

Our water will be turned off tomorrow, Monday, August 17, from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM while crews work on the water main break.

We know laundry without water is kind of like a swimming pool without water… not very useful. 😬🙃

The good news is they expect the work to be finished by 4:00 PM, and we should be back up and running by around 4:30 PM! 🙌

Thanks so much for your patience while they get this fixed! 💙

🎄🎁✨ Great Idea Alert! ✨🎁🎄

💛 There’s something magical about fresh, clean laundry… maybe it’s the smell, maybe it’s the folding (okay, definitely not the folding 😅).

Skip the folding... don’t make your friends do it either! Grab a Wash, Dry, Fold gift certificate for the easiest, most loved last-minute gift ever. They’ll thank you… and maybe even hug you. 🧺🎁
