🚨 Pennsylvania Homeowners — Have You Experienced This?
A salesperson knocks on your door claiming your neighbors are being treated for pests… recommending products… maybe even applying treatments, all without a license.
It's not just aggressive. It could be illegal.
The Pennsylvania Pest Management Association (PPMA) is working directly with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture to investigate deceptive door-to-door pest control sales tactics, and we need your help to build the case.
📹 We're looking for:
Ring doorbell or security camera footage of misleading sales interactions
Documentation of unlicensed pest advice or treatment recommendations
Written or verbal false claims (e.g., "We're already treating your neighbor's home for [X]")
Why does this matter? These tactics hurt consumers AND give the entire professional pest management industry a bad name.
Licensed, ethical pest professionals work hard to earn your trust, and bad actors undermine all of it.
