Partner Shout‑Out!!A lot of you know Paul Lamkin , and some of you do not. He is the owner of Poison Springs Tree Service and has been a Camden guy his whole life. class of 1989 of Fairview high School. Paul also carries many other titles — an amazing son, husband, dad, Pops, and friend. He serves as an associate pastor, youth director, deacon, and Sunday school teacher at Chidester Baptist Church. His heart and compassion for people in need have really stood out to me over the last few weeks. From pulling Jerry Guess’s buried tractor out, to helping Angie Lester bury her sweet dog, Paul consistently shows up when others wouldn’t. But one situation lately shows his character more than anything else — and makes me very proud to be part of his team.I came across a Facebook post from Renee Moseley, a lady I didn’t personally know, who needed help with a huge tree that had fallen in her backyard. The tree tore down her electric pole, knocking out her power. It was the Fourth of July, it was hot, and she was planning to stay in her car. I went to look, but my equipment couldn’t handle the situation. I called Paul to come see it.The way the tree was broken and twisted made it extremely dangerous for any tree service to take on. I asked Paul what he planned to do. His response was:“If this was your mother or grandmother, what would you want done? I’m going to help her.”His team met there early Monday morning, worked all day, removed the tree without incident, and had her on her way to getting her electricity restored. This job took a lot of teamwork, a lot of Christ‑like decisions, and a group of people — even beyond those who were physically on the job. Most would have walked away. Most would not have done the legwork before and after to make sure she was safe and sound back in her home.I would like for all of you to take the time to let Paul know how awesome he is. He is a true Christian man who will do anything he can for anyone. I’m grateful for our friendship and partnership.Very proud of you, Paul! BJ's Stump Removal

BJ's Stump Removal, along with Poison Springs Tree Service, traveled to Stephens, AR, to jump on three gigantic stumps! The work was being done for Chris Rhodes and his wife. The before and after pictures don't do it justice.

Y'all keep all the people working outside in the heat in your prayers. Its going to be tough. I'm so thankful for my hard working guy but I do worry about him working in the heat and it doesn't look like it will get better anytime soon. He leaves early to try to beat it but it still comes on you quick, especially if you work before daylight until dark.
