Just when the Nova was finally about ready for its first fire-up… I decided to tear it back apart. 😂

Sometimes you’ve got to take one step back to take ten steps forward.

The carbureted setup was going to run great, but this build deserves the best. We’re upgrading to a Holley Terminator EFI system for easier starts, better drivability, cleaner tuning, real-time data logging, and room to grow.

It’ll take a little more time now, but the end result will be a far more reliable, street-friendly, and powerful combination.

Stay tuned… this first start will be worth the wait.

Finally got the Nova out of the shop after almost a year! 💪🏼 also a nice Chat GPT rendering of the vision/wrap.

It’s been a long road with countless hours of fabrication, late nights, and problem solving, but seeing it back on the ground makes it all worth it.

We’ve still got plenty left to do—finish the driveline, wrap up the wiring, complete the fuel system, fire it up, then it’s on to the interior, stereo, and a fresh wrap.

The goal is to have it on the road in August so I have plenty of time to tune, shake it down, and get it ready for Cruisin’ the Coast in October. That’s the deadline, and I’m determined to make it happen.

Making room for the meats. 💪

This Nova is getting a stretched mini tub to fit true 335 tires while keeping the back seat functional. Lots of measuring, cutting, fabrication, and welding, but it’s going to be worth it.

We enjoy taking on custom fabrication projects that most shops don’t want to touch.
