Before you treat that stain at home, know what you’re dealing with.
Blood. Red w**e. Mustard. Ink.
They may all look like “just a stain,” but they do not behave the same way.
• Heat can make some protein-based stains harder to remove.
• Red w**e can leave multiple components behind in the fabric.
• Mustard can combine oil and strong pigment.
• Ink formulas vary, so one treatment does not fit every stain.
The safest first move? Don’t rub. Don’t add heat. Bring the garment in and tell us what happened.
The more we know about the stain and anything already used on it, the better we can assess the garment.
