🧼✨ **THE CLEANING PRODUCTS I CARRY**
After **10+ years of professional house cleaning**, I've learned something important:
You do **NOT** need 50 different products.
You just need a few **good products that actually work.**
Here's my core cleaning lineup and what I use them for:
🪟 **GLASS & MIRRORS**
• 50/50 mix of **90% rubbing alcohol + water**
Fill the bottle halfway with alcohol and the rest with water. That's it. Streak-free and fast-drying.
🍳 **ALL-PURPOSE CLEANER / DEGREASER**
• 1 cup rubbing alcohol
• 2 teaspoons Dawn dish soap
• Fill the rest with water
I use this throughout the house and in kitchens.
⚠️ Not for natural wood.
🔥 **HEAVY DEGREASING**
• Straight Dawn dish soap
• Dawn Professional / Industrial Degreaser
I've been testing the industrial Dawn lately and honestly... I've been loving it.
🚽 **DISINFECTING & BATHROOMS**
• OdoBan concentrate
I buy the gallon jugs because they last forever when diluted.
✨ **SINKS**
**STAINLESS STEEL:**
• Bar Keepers Friend
• Soft Scrub with Oxy
⚠️ Never use Soft Scrub with bleach on stainless steel—it can cause discoloration.
**PORCELAIN SINKS:**
• Soft Scrub with Bleach
• Soft Scrub with Oxy
• All-purpose cleaner
My rule:
🤍 If it's white → use Soft Scrub
🩶 If it's not → use Bar Keepers Friend
🦠 **MOLD & MILDEW**
• Start with peroxide first
If needed:
• Zep Mold & Mildew Remover (gel or spray)
Yes, these products contain bleach, but they also contain surfactants and other ingredients. It's not the same as using straight bleach.
🪨 **STONE SURFACES**
I ONLY use stone-safe products on stone.
• Weiman Granite Cleaner
• Peppermint & Sage Granite Cleaner
🪵 **WOOD & STAINLESS POLISHING**
• Orange Glow
I also keep:
• Mineral oil
• Beeswax wood polish
Different surfaces react differently, so it's helpful to have options. Sometimes mineral oil works better on stainless than Orange Glow.
💧 **HARD WATER REMOVAL**
• Bar Keepers Friend + 0000 steel wool first
If that doesn't work:
• Bio Clean
Bio Clean is honestly my secret weapon.
🔥 **GAS STOVE GRATES & BURNERS**
• Hotspot Cast Iron Polish
⭐ **MY CORE 5 EVERY CLEANER SHOULD HAVE:**
✔️ Dawn all-purpose cleaner
✔️ Rubbing alcohol + water
✔️ Soft Scrub
✔️ Orange Glow
✔️ Stone cleaner
I can clean an entire house with just those five products alone. 🧼✨
