Service Technician Assistant Job Description:

We are currently searching for individuals who have long term goals of advancement and personal growth. We provide ongoing training for continued advancement. In this position you will assist in chimney and vent service and repair. You will be trained how to properly perform inspections, service, repairs and installation of chimney and vent systems.

Service Technician Assistant Requirements

Honest, Reliable, and Ethical
Hardworking
Dependable transportation, valid driver’s license, good driving record
Comfortable with heights, ladders, and roof work
Be physically able to lift and carry 90lbs
Ability to work outdoors year round
Work as part of a team of service professionals
Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Willingness to learn, grow in knowledge (paid training provided)
*Experience in the chimney or service field is preferred, but not required*

Service Technician Assistant Daily Responsibilities

Assist in :

Inspect and sweep fireplaces, chimney and vent systems
Inspect and service dryer vent systems
Chimney repairs and general chimney system maintenance
Install chimney caps, animal guards, and fireplace dampers
Prepare job sites
Daily organization of trucks and equipment
General cleaning and maintenance of equipment
Service Technician Assistant Responsibilities:

Be punctual and able to meet time commitments
Communicate well with co-workers
Work well with co-workers as well as individually
Ability to work overtime
Write neatly
