Here is another project I enjoyed doing. This customer had new gutters put up on the entire home and had to have a downspout added which did not have a drain.
Done Correct came out and got a brand new drain in and connected it to the existing drainage system. We had to dig 25ft of trench and go the 4 1/2ft under the walkway to get to the new spout.
The way we did this was cut a piece of our 4in pvc drain pipe to have 1 ft sticking out on each side of the walkway. Then starting from the side with the trench we tapped the cut piece of pvc into the dirt under the walkway using a 2x4 and a small sledge hammer. Once it was pounded in in the exact direction we needed it to go we sprayed the dirt out using a pressure washer. After a minute or 2 of blasting you tap the pipe in further then blast it again with pressure washer. We repeated this process until the pipe was sticking out on both ends of the walkway.
From there we cleaned everything up really well and used pvc glue to connect the rest of the drain to the into the existing drain system. For that we cut the existing pipe and put a 3 holed adapter to tie the new pipe into the old. Again, this homeowner was very pleased with the work performed and I try to keep our customers in the loop of what are plan is to exercise transparency and earn trust.

This was fun project. Removing an old leaky busted up skylight with a very nice Velux solar powered, venting skylight. The reason I enjoyed it was because once we finished up and did the trim on the inside we got to turn it on and watch it in action.
It's got a little remote you mount on the wall and just hit a button to open for venting then click a button and it closes back up. Very cool addition for bathrooms or kitchens. This one in particular was over a large bath tub in a bathroom. Turned out fantastic!

So here is one of the bigger projects we've done so far this year. We ripped off the entire existing roof (3 layers of shingles, tongue and groove decking, and the entire truss sysytem). Once removed we framed in new 2x6 trusses, leveled everything, and re-decked with 1/2" osb.
From there it was a typical roof install. (Ice guard, synthetic felt, Owen's Corning sure nail shingles, and new counter flashing around the chimney).
After the roof was completed we went ahead did all of fascia and rake boards, hung all of the soffit and finished it off with with Royal Brown fascia metal to match all of the existing trim. All together it took 4 full days with help from friends.

At the end of the project the homeowner and his wife were both extremely grateful and finally got to move into the house which made me very happy.

Here's a big project we had for a customer in Maple Heights. Full double fascia removal and installed with all new 2x6!
