Here is a fun flash back from Hurricane Ida in 2021.

Who says future meteorologists can’t help keep our community storm ready?

One of our SERVPRO of Mobile County family members had a daughter who decided to give her own weather update about the hurricane that impacted Mobile in 2021. We think she might have a future on TV! 📺💚

Her fun reminder comes at the perfect time. Living on the Gulf Coast means storm season is something we all take seriously. Now is a great time to check your emergency kit, review your family’s storm plan, and make sure you’re prepared before the next storm arrives.

A little preparation today can make a big difference tomorrow.

Great conversations start over a cup of coffee.

SERVPRO of Mobile County enjoyed attending this month’s Coffee with the Mayor, hosted by the Saraland Area Chamber of Commerce. It was a great opportunity to hear updates from Mayor Joe McDonald, connect with fellow business leaders, and learn more about what’s happening in the Saraland community.

It all started with a roof leak.

This Saraland home had a roof leak that wasn't repaired right away. Over time, water found its way behind the drywall, leading to hidden water damage and mold growth.

Our SERVPRO of Mobile County team stepped in to:
-Repair the roof
-Remove damaged drywall
-Install containment barriers\
-Treat the affected areas for mold
-Begin the structural drying process

The biggest lesson? Don't ignore a roof leak. Even when the dripping stops, moisture can remain trapped inside your walls and continue causing damage you can't see.

We're grateful we could help this homeowner begin the restoration process and get their home on the path to recovery.

Our team recently responded to a commercial property with water intrusion from ceiling leaks. After removing damaged drywall and extracting the water, we began setting drying equipment to help minimize further damage.

Tropical Storm Bertha Update

As Tropical Storm Bertha moves through the Gulf, our team is closely monitoring conditions across Mobile County.

The latest forecast calls for periods of heavy rain, gusty winds, dangerous surf, and a high risk of rip currents along our coastline. While forecast tracks can change, now is the time to make sure outdoor items are secured, charge your devices, and stay informed through trusted sources. Current forecasts indicate tropical storm force winds are possible along portions of the Alabama coast, with 1 to 3 inches of rainfall expected and locally higher amounts in some areas.
