This is the kind of stuff we run into all the time when replacing failed field lines.
These lines were completely packed full of dirt and roots, so the system had nowhere left for the water to go. At that point, the septic system can’t properly drain anymore, and that’s when homeowners start noticing slow drains, sewage smells, wet spots in the yard, or backups in the house.
A lot of times people think they “just need the tank pumped,” but sometimes the real issue is underneath the ground in the drain field itself.
If your septic system has been acting up, give us a shout. We’ll come take a look and help you figure out what’s really going on.
