In 1977, Benders Sewer & Drain former owner and founder, Gary Bender, began providing basic sewer and drain cleaning services for residential and light commercial applications. Through the years he continued to update equipment and options to accommodate the demand for work in agricultural, commercial, industrial and municipal applications.
During the past 40 plus years, Gary kept his 5 boys busy helping and learning the business.
On January 1, 2024 Gary’s middle son, Reed Bender, took over the business which is now Bender Sewer & Drain LLC. Since then we’ve added a full-time office manager, Lacy Bo***ck, and two full time technicians, Tod Bryan and Reilly Sparks.
Dylon Bender runs the Sioux Falls location while Reed, Blaze and Cale Bender work out of the Mitchell location.
Reed’s sons, Oakley & Lennon - Along with Blaze’s sons, Zane & Isaac have also been busy working during the summer. What a blessing to have so many family members involved in the business!
Our services include cable, high pressure jetting, video inspection/locating, septic pumping for our residential and light commercial customers. Vacuuming, jetting, hydro blasting and hydro excavating as well as municipal pipeline video inspection/reporting for industrial, agricultural and municipal customers. We also offer smoke testing as well as No Dig Pipe Repair.
Presently Bender Sewer & Drain LLC have 2 locations, Mitchell and Sioux Falls South Dakota. However, we cover a great deal of territory surrounding these areas. We value all of our customers old & new and welcome any challenges that may come our way.
