‼️RECYCLING PLEE‼️

We really wish we didn't have to make this post; however, this is becoming a big problem for our recycling program. Please, please, please stop putting old needles in our recycling cottages!!! These are not medical needles; they are addict needles. Not only is it putting our recycling employee in harm's way, but it is causing us to potentially loose our recycling partnerships. If we lose our recycling partnerships, we lose our recycling program. Our recycling program generates around $25,000 a year and if that is lost, it will affect our shelter drastically.

There are plenty of places around Missoula to recycle needles, and our cottages are not one of those places. This is not happening at just one cottage; it's happening at a few. Please stop. If you are the one doing this, please stop. If you see someone doing this, please tell them to stop. We cannot afford to lose our recycling partnerships, and if this continues to happen, we will. Think about the innocent animals in our community who rely on us. If we lose our recycling program, we will not be able to help as many animals as we do now. Please do better and be better for the animals in our community.
