OUR PRESIDENT IS A DEAL MAKER
What does that tell us?
There are two kinds of personalities, the gift giver and the deal maker.
SATAN is the original dealer maker. What he offers is some of his power on earth on a temporary basis, and he delivers what he promised. You get what he promised, but in the end, death nullifies the deal, and Satan takes control.
GOD is the original gift giver. Jesus offered Satan his life, and Satan grabbed the deal. What Satan got was temporary, but what Jesus got was forever.
HERE IS GOD’S DEAL: You have nothing and I have everything. Let’s make a deal. You give me 100% of your nothing and I’ll exchange that for 100% of my everything. The problem for us is that we’re still so attached to our ultimately worthless things that we just can’t let go. From God’s perspective it’s got to be an all or nothing deal. There is no room in his kingdom for your nothing.
