We did another LaundryCares Foundation free laundry day Wednesday at our Villard location. Part of National Free Laundry Day. We served almost 50 families and did 6850 lbs of laundry, all washed and dried in about 3 hrs. We gave away dozens of children's books, went through 18 pizzas, dozens of laundry bags, soap boxes and dryer sheets.

What a day!!

WE ARE DOUBLING EVERY DOLLAR YOU PUT ON OUR NEW PAYMENT SYSTEM!! $5 = $10, $50 = $100, DOUBLE YOUR MONEY PROMOTION ENDS JANUARY 13TH 2026.

We installed a new payment system at our Laundromat at 7903 W Capitol Dr. This system accepts cash or credit and issues a card that can then be used to start all of our washers and dryers. You only need one laundry card and that card can be reloaded and used over and over.

Today we handed out a $2600 check to each family affected by the fire at my childhood apartment building. They lost everything, and needed help getting into new apartments. Thanks to everyone who donated!! You all made a difference.

Decades ago, he lived in the building. Now, he owns Quick Wash Laundromats down the street and is promising to match up to $5,000 in donations.

My childhood apartment building were my mother and I lived had a fire this weekend at 8711 W Villard Ave. I drove by and took a look for myself this morning. I wasn't expecting this, but I had a ton of memories that flooded in. Then immediately had an overwhelming feeling to help the residents affected by this fire.

I feel as a business owner in this community and having a personal connection to this building, I have to do something to help. So I decided to start a GoFundMe campaign were I will match all donations up to $5000. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the residents of this fire. I've already talked with the building owner and we will be in touch with the tenants in the coming days. Please share and give if you can. Every little bit helps.

We had a good turnout yesterday for our Financial Literacy event with North Shore bank. We gave away a ton of great financial advice, pizza, children's books from Milwaukee Public Library and free dry to everyone who attended. Next event scheduled for August 14th 3pm to 5pm.
