We Need Our Village Again
We hadn’t officially set a date yet, but we were getting very close to scheduling our next A Hope of Shine Foundation nonprofit clean for a woman in our community who needs her home cleaned so she can receive in home care.
Unfortunately, before we could get everything scheduled, she suffered a heart attack and is now facing multiple surgeries.
She doesn’t have a large support system or close family to lean on, so now, more than ever, I want to make sure she’s able to come home to a safe, clean environment without that burden on her shoulders.
I’m calling on all of the amazing people who had already offered to help and anyone else who would like to join us.

We don’t know exactly when she’ll be released, but we’re hoping it’ll be within the next couple of weeks. Once we know, we’ll schedule the clean for a weekend so as many volunteers as possible can join us.
This is exactly why A Hope of Shine Foundation exists to show up for people during some of the hardest moments of their lives.
Let’s come together and make sure that when she comes back through her front door, she walks into a home filled with comfort, dignity, and hope.
