Freezing weather checklist
□Wrap exterior faucets
□maintain heat inside the structure (do not use stove or oven as a heat source)
□Leave sink cabinet doors open and let faucets slow drip.
□Know where your water meter and water shutoff valve are located in the event of a burst pipe.
□In the event you will not be home during this cold spell and can't monitor your indoor temperatures, shutting off your water prior to leaving may be a feasible option.

For Everyone with ceilings falling in/ pipes busted in the wall right now:

Please make sure you are having it dried out before you have a contractor fix it. This is crucial because your insulation and the wood are wet. Once we start getting back to regular temperatures your attics will become very humid as the water starts to try and evaporate these will be the perfect conditions for mold to start growing. Even if you don’t call us, call someone to dry before repair!
