ATTN 2 Detail NoVa wants to wish everyone a safe weekend. Please remember what this long weekend is for. It is not for veterans. It’s for our brothers and sisters who gave all for our nation. We love you. We appreciate you. We honor you.

All gave some. Some gave all. Bless the mothers, fathers, wives, husbands, children, siblings, family and friends of all who have been lost protecting our nation. Continue to rest in peace. God Bless America ❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸

Remember the reason for this weekend.

"Memorial Day was never meant to just be a long weekend.It is a sacred pause.
A moment to remember that freedom has always cost somebody something.

It is the sound of children laughing in a country men and women died protecting.
It is the silence at dinner tables where a seat never got filled again.
It is folded flags pressed into trembling hands.
Dog tags tucked away in old wooden boxes.
Wedding rings still worn by widows decades later.
Parents who kissed their child goodbye one last time without knowing it would be the last.

Memorial Day is not about those who served only.
It is about those who never made it home.
The ones who gave birthdays, anniversaries, future grandchildren, quiet mornings, ordinary Tuesdays… all of it… for a country they believed was worth protecting.

Somewhere this weekend, a mother is still grieving a son who died in uniform.
Somewhere, a child only knows their father through photographs and stories.
Somewhere, an old flag hangs carefully folded because it is all a family has left to hold onto.

And yet here we are… living the very life they fought for.

The freedom to gather.
To worship.
To raise our children in peace.
To laugh loudly on porches under an American sky.
To argue, dream, build businesses, fall in love, and live ordinary lives without fear.

Those ordinary moments we so easily rush through were paid for by extraordinary sacrifice.

So yes, enjoy the sunshine.
Hold your babies close.
Laugh around the grill.
Watch the fireworks.
Wave the flag proudly.

But before this weekend ends, stop for a moment and remember the men and women who laid down their lives for people they would never even meet.

Because Memorial Day is not just the celebration of freedom.
It is the remembrance of the people who gave everything so America could still have it. 🇺🇸"

It’s parade day! Who doesn’t love a parade??!! Tons of happy people, food, music, festivities…and then there is this GORGEOUS, CLEAN DETAILED 1976 Cadillac ElDorado driven by Middletown, Va. Mayor Charles Harbaugh IV carrying the 99th Annual Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival Parade Sports Grand Marshal, NFL Hall of Famer Tim Brown.
The Mayor has given veteran owned ATTN 2 Detail NoVa the honor to detail his classic Caddy for all events he attends for about a year now and I am beyond grateful. So be sure to come on out and wave to Tim Brown and the Mayor TODAY at the Apple Blossom Parade!!! Hope to see you there!!! @

It’s that time of year folks! Come see Middletown Mayor Charles Harbaugh’s beautiful 1976 Cadillac El Dorado convertible and tomorrow’s parade as he has yet another Hall of Fame football player in the back!! All you get right now is the sneak peek reflecting off of the shiny Hydro blue paint of the A2D Ram.
Make sure to make it out to tonight‘s fireman‘s parade and tomorrow’s main parade. Hope to see everybody there.
