Environmental Group Inc. Environmental Group Inc. is a full service environmental contractor in Middletown, Connecticut.

Founded in 1991, with the belief that consumers needed a quality outlet for their professional abatement needs. And since that time many of the largest companies and institutions have looked to EGI for their environmental needs. EGI has completed over two thousand asbestos removal projects since 1991 and has grown to offer a full line of services that include asbestos abatement, lead based paint a

batement, and mold remediation, while continuing to offer insulation services for all mechanical systems. Sensing the changing needs of our clients, that required certain construction activities performed utilizing cleaner methods that we were familiar with, we began offering concrete core drilling, concrete saw cutting, and demolition in 2004. Working with the Engineering and Infection Control Department in several well-respected hospitals in Connecticut has allowed us to develop cleaner methods for these traditionally dirty tasks.
