With this EXTREME WEATHER!!!!

Call your agent and ask if you have an ACV policy or RCV policy!

There is a big difference in coverage.

Ask if you have a sump pump endorsement. Ask what your limits are. If you have a finished basement, make certain your limit are at least $10k. The standard limit is $5k and that doesn’t go too far if you incur a loss.

Know your deductible!

Never use the word flood when talking to an insurance representative.

Water coming from the ground is not a covered claim unless you have a specific policy.

A lot of people think this will never happen to me. Then when it does they aren’t happy with their insurance choices.
