AES crew completed installation of monitoring wells and injection wells at a homeowner site in Northern NJ. The former underground storage tank leaked fuel oil into surrounding soils causing contamination. Due to the close proximity of the home's foundation and utility lines, traditional soil excavation was deemed to costly. AES designed a plan to remediate the site via injection of hydrogen peroxide. This plan was approved by NJDEP and the first injection is slated to commence in upcoming weeks. Once remediation is complete, homeowner can proceed with sale of home.
