One of the many things I’ve had the pleasure of doing with Bellevue Cemetery here in Lawrence is helping out with cemetery beautification day. This includes flag replacement which is something I’ve been doing since I was a kid with my grandparents.

This year they asked me to come on and help them plant flowers at their perpetual care plots, which I was more than happy to oblige. Over the course of two days I planted well over 100 flowers across 30+ plots, these are only 20 of the ones I did.

Took a stop down to the cemetery this afternoon to do some work on my family plots today.

Had to get this one cleaned up and edged out. Next step is going in and lifting it out to re-level it as it is starting to sink. Definitely not gonna be a fun one to do, but it definitely needs to be done. I may also refinish the bronze in the near future.

One more from last year’s contract with Bellevue Cemetery. Not only did I have to clean this one up, but I also needed to get it recentered on the base. Definitely a fun project, but not an easy feat. The back side also did not come out on the original cleaning as I’d hoped, so I resprayed a second time a couple weeks ago in an attempt to get it looking even better.

Another one that got lost in the shuffle of my camera roll.
Definitely didn’t come out perfect, and considering I had to clean this one twice to get it to what it looks like currently. Even two years later, as I was going through the cemetery yesterday evening (4/12/26), it still looks great.

This was one I’d done on my own time as a way to hone my skills. Considering how well it came out, I’d say I’m definitely getting there with a regular result pattern.

Yet another from last year’s contract with Bellevue Cemetery here in Lawrence, MA. So many more that need to be done… I’ve only made it through one full section so far.

Either way, this one came out pretty good, not perfect, but many never are. Even after 4 years of doing this work, I haven’t completely nailed down a method that will give me the exact same results every time (at least within a week). Very few are ever good to go after the first cleanup, most take a second run through, especially when they’re as old as some of these are.
Mind you, I don’t use muriatic acid like some companies do to get nearly instant results.

One more from last year’s contract with Bellevue. This one definitely came out better than I’d expected it to, although the back side could definitely use another cleaning to help get rid of the rest of the buildup.

This is one of the first ones I’ve done for the 2026 season for my contract through Bellevue Cemetery. This one fortunately wasn’t too bad to begin with, and the small amount of residual staining on the base will come off within the next couple weeks as my biological cleaners work their magic.

I’m going to add this in as a side note. I absolutely despise the new Instagram feature that limits the number of hashtags that you can add to a post to 5. It’s completely ridiculous.

This one was one of the ones I did work on that got lost in the shuffle of my camera roll.
The front definitely came out great, although the back didn’t come out as good as I’d hoped. This one was one of the ones I did on my own time in my constant effort to hone and perfect my skills and techniques. *These after photos were taken the following spring.

Whether you are religious or not, from my family to yours I would like to wish you a healthy and Happy Easter.

May the Lord bless and keep you. May He open your hearts and minds to His glory, grace, and mercy. 🙏

By His grace I’ll be able to open up for the year at some point this week as the weather projections for the area are looking fairly decent.

Good evening folks, I hope everyone had a safe and healthy holiday season! From Christmas to New Years, to St. Valentine’s Day, it’s been a long wait to get back to work.

I’m hoping to reopen officially this week as the weather is finally starting to stay warmer, although with my car in the shop for some minor repairs, that may be delayed a bit longer.

If you’re interested in having any work done on your loved ones’ headstones feel free to reach out! If by some reason I don’t answer your call, I do apologize, but don’t be afraid to leave a voicemail and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!
