An automatic fill can keep your pool looking normal even when it's adding more water than it used to.

These photos show two different auto-leveler float and canister setups. If your pool has an automatic fill, pay attention to a change in how often it runs and note what you observe. That pattern can be a useful clue, but it doesn't tell you where the water is going or prove there's a leak.

This crack in the skimmer canister wall was hard to see.

Our listening equipment helped us locate it. Then dye testing gave us visual confirmation: in this clip, the dye is drawn into the crack.

That is the detection step. The video does not show a repair.

A photo and a note about when you noticed it can be useful if you need help investigating. A wet spot alone doesn't tell you where pool water is going, so leave the diagnosis to a careful check.

That isn’t a pile of yard trimmings. It’s the root mass we pulled from an underground catch tank serving a pool’s slot drain.

On this job, Echo removed the roots and sealed their entry point around the pipe.

The photos show the removed roots, the tank access, and a look inside the tank. They’re views from the same job—not a staged before-and-after.

Sometimes the part of the pool system you don’t see is the part that needs attention.
