Protect Your Vehicle From the Intense Summer Sun!

The sun degrades a car's exterior finish in three primary ways:

• Clear Coat Degradation: Once this barrier weakens, the underlying paint loses its luster, resulting in discoloration and fading, especially noticeable on darker colors.
• Oxidation: Prolonged UV exposure causes a chemical reaction that dries out the paint, leaving it with a chalky, cloudy, or dull appearance.
• Heat Expansion & Cracking: Extreme summer temperatures cause the metal panels and paint layers to repeatedly expand and contract. This thermal stress weakens the paint's integrity, leading to peeling and tiny cracks.

Other tips:

Protect Your Car From Spring's Extreme Weather!

Your car is a significant investment. Be sure to take extra care in protecting it from the extreme spring weather conditions! Hail can shatter windshields and ruin your car's finish!. Thunderstorms, high winds and tornadoes can bring down trees and branches that can literally total your car. Spring floods can ruin the power train, electric and interior of your car. When the weather gets rough. make sure to keep your car out of harms way! Park away from trees. Avoid parking in low lying areas prone to flooding.
