William “Homer” Tate

Tonight the patriarch of our family, Homer Tate, went to be with his Heavenly Father and the love of his life to whom he was married to for 65 years before her passing in 2020.

Homer was a cornerstone in the agriculture community, deacon emeritus at Flint River Baptist Church, and had a servant’s heart for others. We are grieving as a family, but find great comfort that he is in God’s presence.
