There’s a process and a system when cleaning rugs. Price is important but knowing the process is too. Often times, at least in Minneapolis, Mn, the process isn’t as important to other rug cleaners. I say this because their standard dusting is vacuuming (non-tumble dusting) and top cleaning. If your rug allows it ALL the rugs we clean are getting a medium deep wash or a deep wash. Knowing the process is important because if price is important then process has to be too. Vacuuming in place of real dusting is side stepping the professional process. Top cleaning or surface cleaning is just carpet cleaning.

Q: They probably charge accordingly if they’re doing less work and not as much a deep clean?

A: I wish that was the case. Our mid to deep wash is what they charge for their standard wash and clean.

Get the price but know the process and compare. At Yep! We clean rugs we utilize all professional grade equipment to get your rug the cleanest as possible.

In our industry, we frequently observe carpet cleaning companies expanding their services to include rug cleaning. While we appreciate the gesture, it's essential to recognize the significant differences between cleaning carpets and rugs. Carpets are generally durable, whereas rugs require specialized care due to their intricate composition. Modern rugs, often marketed as designer pieces, may feature inferior materials like viscose fibers, unstable dyes prone to bleeding, and subpar backings. Consequently, professional rug cleaning necessitates distinct equipment and considerable time to execute correctly.
