Dressed up the edges of this nice little pond. Perfect time to do it with the level being down. Laid down geotextile fabric and a mixture of wash gravel to help with bank erosion..

I swear I get the best clients! I love it when I get to get creative with people's patios. The accent pieces really play well together. Final pressure wash and seal and on to the next one. Anyone interested in some luxurious out door living please feel free to contact us.

Made the best of the past couple of days. Weather wasn't the best but we pushed through and got the boulder walls built. Should be wrapping up in the next week or so. Weather permitting of course.

Things are starting to come together on this build. Walk in closet addition new stone veneer as well as new siding. On the front, a massive f porch with rough cut timbers and reverse Gable. More pictures to come. I'm almost as excited as the client.

We do alot of foundation repairs! I figure I have dug up well over 200 homes in my career. This was the first time I've encountered this. Dry stack Boulder foundation with no footer. It was a little nerve racking to say the least. One wrong move on the excavator and the whole wall would come crashing down. The home owner wanted to keep the stone look in the basement to match the original look of the 1830 home. We excavated under the base layer of stone and poured a footer under it. Next we formed a wall with rebar cage and poured a new wall to fill all the voids and support the stone foundation. To help keep the look of the old home we then trowled wash gravel into the top. Also added a footer drain and discharge latteral that is gravity drained to the back ditch line and tied the down spouts into that to ensure no water can leach back into the basement. And we did all this at a fraction of the cost some of the big name companies were trying to charge.
