Watch how you store your kids bath toys! Even the most well meaning parents can have a situation like this brewing in their bathrooms. I have seen it time and again. Choose a plastic,well draining, container that is easy to clean to store bath toys in, and sanitize the container and contents regularly or ask your housekeeper to keep it in mind and make it part of their routine. In fact you shouldn’t have to ask your housekeeper to do this. It should be part of their rotation. Bathrooms are prime real estate for molds and bacterias and some of the grossest stuff life has to offer. We use our bathrooms hopefully to get clean so if you’re showering in a bathroom that’s dirty it’s likely you are dirtier than when you went in. We don’t want our kids putting stuff covered in this funk in their mouths or washing in water contaminated by it. There is an easy fix!
