Now Hiring – Part-Time Maintenance/Custodial Worker with potential for full time in the future.

We are seeking a dependable part-time maintenance/custodial worker to perform a variety of duties at our three laundromats and tool shop.

Hours: Primarily weekdays between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional weekend hours as needed.

Pay: Starting at $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience. Higher pay may be negotiated based upon experience.

Benefits: Vacation and holiday pay available after 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
General routine maintenance and repairs
Washer, dryer, and equipment troubleshoot/repair
Minimal Lawn maintenance and outdoor upkeep as needed
Cleaning and janitorial duties as needed

Qualifications:
Basic mechanical knowledge
General handyman skills
Experience with electrical and plumbing
Ability to work independently and handle a variety of maintenance tasks
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required

Our attendant cleans all 3 locations but works out of our Bessemer Street location as our home-base for wash and fold.

Now hiring laundry attendants/cleaners for part time-full time work (from 30-40 hrs/week). Attendant performs a variety of duties in the laundromats. We have three locations in Meadville, must be willing to work at all locations. ***Starting at $15/per hour.***. $16/hr. after successfully completing a 90 day probationary period. $17/hr. after successful completion of 6 months. $18/hr. after 9 months, and $20/hr. after successfully completing 12 months. Tips from wash and fold/delivery. Holiday pay after one year and vacation pay after 1 and 1/2 years. Duties include, but are not limited to: Extensive cleaning-this position requires a lot of cleaning as we strive to have VERY clean laundromats! Meet and greet our customers and assist as needed with questions, handle wash and fold/drop off laundry services, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, stain removal, and pick-up/delivery as needed. Must know how to do laundry, fold and iron! Experience is requested. Use of a cash register and ability to balance your drawer. Ability to work with little supervision and self-motivate. Our pay is very competitive with other industries and is the highest in the area for the laundry business! Due to inclement weather, we have closed down Lucy’s Laundry Basket on Bessemer Street and S. Main St. effective at 3 PM on Thursday 12/5/24. We will re-open on Friday 12/6/24 at 7am. Thanks and please be safe and stay home and off the roads if you can!

We have three locations in Meadville, must be willing to work at all locations. This position will be responsible for closing down the laundromats at 9pm, as well as cleaning at least one of the locations prior to closing. 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours of work per night. ***Starting at $15/per hour.***. $16/hr. after successfully completing a 90 day probationary period. $17/hr. after successful completion of 6 months. $18/hr. after 9 months, and $20/hr. after successfully completing 12 months. Beginning on Friday, November 24th we have decided to shut down the Bessemer Street location at 9pm daily, reopening at 6am. At this time, the State Street location will stay open 24/7.
