Shout out to women window cleaners!
Celia was a mother of 2 boys, ages 5 and 2 when she got the news that her husband Edward had taken a very bad fall at work, he was injured and could not work his window cleaning route.

Celia took over his window cleaning route so they could keep the job, keep the money coming in, after she had been on the glass for a short time she was asked how she felt about the work, she said she would keep up the work, she liked it, for her it went beyond the paycheck!

She is said to be the first and only female window cleaner in the USA at the time this photograph was taken.

The squeegee she is using appears to be a W.J. Dennis "Ideal" squeegee.
