Attention Rt 850 Hippo/David area we have a pump station down in your area causing an outage, Crews are in the process of repairing it now and as soon as they get it repaired your water will be restored but it will be out for several hours.

We at Southern Water are not currently seeking a rate increase! Someone is circulating a rumor that we are and they have been misinformed. You can go to the Public Service Commission’s website and view all current applications for a rate increase. The website is psc.ky.gov
As for grant money that we have gotten there are several projects ongoing at this time the Water plant project and the Rt 80 to 680 project. The Wayland to Lackey project has been completed.
