AAA Pest Control is a family-owned pest control service in McAllen, founded in 1977 by Luciano... and now led by third-generation owner Hugo Gutierrez Jr.

AAA Pest Control is a family-owned pest control service in McAllen, founded in 1977 by Luciano Gutierrez Sr. Licensed by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TPCL10516) and insured, we treat termites, roaches, ants, spiders, bed bugs, fleas, ticks and mosquitoes for homes and businesses across the Rio Grande Valley, including Mission, Edinburg, Pharr, Alton and San Juan. Our termite work uses Termidor, and qualifying full treatments carry a 2-year warranty. German roach cleanouts are our specialty. Quarterly plans keep pests from coming back in a Valley that never freezes. Free pest estimates, no trip fee, and we're open Monday to Saturday, 8 to 7. You see 'em, we kill 'em.

Not better. Not mostly handled. G-O-N-E. That's the standard every tech carries into your kitchen, your attic and your yard, and we're not satisfied until your problems are gone and stay gone. Spell it with us at 956-584-8989.

A thin ribbon of dried mud climbing your slab is easy to mistake for dirt. It's a termite highway, built so they can travel without ever touching open air. Our guide walks through the signs Valley homeowners miss most, from those tubes to trim that gives way under a screwdriver.

Nothing causes expensive property damage like termites, and they don't announce themselves. Floors sag and doors stick, and by then they've been eating for a while. Our termite work pairs Termidor with double treatment, mapped monitor stations and a 2-year warranty. You won't be left wondering whether they're really gone.

🪳 SATURDAY PEST CONTROL COMICS! 🪳

Welcome to the first edition of AAA Pest Control vs. The Roach Invasion! 😂

Every Saturday, we’re going to share a new comic featuring our family and showing a little behind-the-scenes look at how we actually perform different pest control services.

This week: German roach clean-outs! We don’t just walk in and spray everything. Our process includes flushing them out of their hiding spots, vacuuming live roaches and egg cases, applying a long-lasting residual treatment, and strategically placing gel bait to help eliminate the colony.

Next Saturday, we’ll take on another South Texas pest! 🐜🕷️🦂🐀

What pest should our family battle next? Drop it in the comments! 👇

🍃🐜 FUN FACT FRIDAY! Did you know leafcutter ants don’t actually eat the leaves they carry? They use those leaf pieces to grow a special fungus inside their colony — and that is what they eat!

Here in South Texas, leafcutter ants can make some seriously impressive trails and can strip plants surprisingly fast.

👀 Have you ever seen a trail of ants carrying little pieces of leaves across your yard? Drop a picture in the comments — we’d love to see it!

🦟 Think you know what bit you? You might be surprised.

Not every red bump is caused by the same pest. Mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, bed bugs, spiders, ants, bees, and scorpions can all leave different reactions—and identifying the culprit is the first step to solving the problem.

We’ve put together this quick guide to help you recognize some of the most common bites we see here in South Texas.

⚠️ Remember: Everyone reacts differently, so bite appearance alone isn’t always enough to identify the pest.

If you’re dealing with unexplained bites or think pests may be hiding in your home, give us a call. We’ll inspect the problem and recommend the right solution.
