I love my job. I meet amazing people, and sometimes you meet those who need not just a good cleaning lady, but a good friend. I enjoy my job, not just because I love a house clean, but I enjoy encouraging my clients. The lady living in this home just moved into assisted living and had been battling cancer; I will miss her. I told her I would clean it so you can get your deposit back. It's not just about cleaning bathrooms; it's about showing the love of Jesus to others. You never know what someone is going through.

If you’re a house cleaner, if you’re like me, we attend to try to please everyone because we become people pleasers. I’m here to tell you we can’t please everyone only do the best you can. It’s not easy cleaning houses. It’s hard work. It’s hard on your body there’s also times you’ve got to take time and rest your body. It’s not easy if you clean a house they don’t appreciate your work and you’re doing everything you can to pour into them to make them happy never hear thank you for your hard work. I appreciate you. Thank you for all the things you did today. I feel those are somethings that need to be said if they don’t say it and you’re working harder than what it’s worth in you’re pouring everything into that house you need to move on because it’s not worth it. The money is not worth it either always remember you can’t please everyone. I’ve realized over the years, owning a cleaning business you’re going to deal with different people that’s life it happens, but always remember you only can do so much. You only do what you agree upon at the beginning people pleasers attend to add to the list because you want to make the customer happy if the customer doesn’t respect your hard work and doesn’t want to pay you the right amount of money you need to move on. I know this from experience putting this out there because I know I’m connected to some house cleaners out there
Let me set the straight if you are a house cleaner it’s not your job to take care of animals that is the homeowners responsibility. Is there a responsibility to put those animals in a cage outside or somewhere safe while the house cleaner is there It’s not the house cleaner’s job to take care of the animals unless they pay them extra to feed them. Make sure if you’re a house cleaner make sure you have everything in place when you talk to the homeowner at the very beginning before you start the job it’s good to even have it written out on a piece of paper or typed up even a signature if possible.
Have agreat weekend! Remember be careful with the people pleasing thing. The only one you need to really be pleasing more than anything is Jesus Christ.
