Commercial Dryer Vent Correction Project in North Canton.

Completed a commercial dryer vent system modification by core drilling through 15 inches of poured concrete to separate improperly connected dryer exhaust ductwork and installing new exterior vent caps to permanently resolve a long-standing moisture issue.

The customer had been experiencing excessive condensation inside the dryer exhaust system for years, resulting in water dripping from the ductwork onto the suspended drop ceiling below.
After inspecting the system, we found that multiple dryers had been connected together using a Y-duct. When only one dryer was operating, the heated, moisture-laden exhaust air was being forced backward into the other connected dryer and ductwork. This backflow caused the inactive dryer and vent system to create condensation that led to the ongoing water damage.
To correct the issue, we separated the dryer exhaust systems by core drilling through the concrete wall, rerouted the ductwork, and installed new exterior vent caps so each dryer now has its own dedicated exhaust system.

Important: Dryer exhaust systems should never be connected together with a Y-fitting or tied into any other exhaust system, such as bathroom fans, kitchen exhausts, or other ventilation ductwork. Every dryer should have its own dedicated vent line running directly from the dryer to its own exterior termination point. This ensures proper airflow, improves drying performance, prevents moisture problems, and helps reduce the risk of dryer fires.

Completed a unique ventilation project for a returning customer who previously trusted us with their dryer vent installation.

This time, they asked us to properly vent their kitchen hood to the exterior of the home. The project required routing ductwork through the garage, up through a storage cabinet, up through the ceiling, and out through the roof—all while maintaining clean lines and optimal airflow.

The end result turned out excellent, delivering both improved performance and a clean, professional finish.
