Ask the Expert: When should I schedule a furnace tune-up?
The best time is before your furnace has to work its hardest.

A fall tune-up gives your system a chance to be checked, cleaned, and tested before colder weather settles in. It can also help catch small issues before they turn into bigger problems on a night when you really need the heat.

The first cold nights are coming. Is your furnace ready? 🍂

Ohio temperatures are expected to dip into the 30s and low 40s this weekend, which means a lot of us will be reaching for the thermostat for the first time this season.

Don’t wait until that first chilly night to find out your heat isn’t working like it should.
Before the cold settles in:
• Turn your heat on and make sure it starts normally
• Listen for unusual noises
• Check your filter
• Pay attention to any strange smells that linger

35 years of experience, dedication, and looking out for the team. 👏

Join us in celebrating John Moore’s 35th anniversary with Ken Neyer Plumbing!

John came to Neyer with years of plumbing experience already under his belt and was hired by Ken Neyer Sr. as a journeyman plumber. Over the years, he has worked in just about every area of the business, including service, construction, site utilities, backflow prevention, and safety.

If you ask around Ken Neyer Plumbing, John is probably best known as the company’s “backflow guy” and for the role he has played in helping keep safety front and center for generations of employees.

One of John’s favorite memories goes back to a water service repair on Route 128. John was down in the ditch when Ken Sr. showed up in Dockers and a button-up shirt. When he saw John needed help, he climbed right in without worrying about his clothes. John still remembers it because it captured the kind of person Ken Sr. was: if someone needed help, he jumped in.

That same spirit of teamwork has been part of John’s career for decades.

Thank you, John, for 35 years of knowledge, leadership, and dedication to Ken Neyer Plumbing and the people around you.
