Coming into this industry I didnā€™t want to step on any toes. I didnā€™t buy a route therefore there is going to be customers that I take from other ā€œpool professionals ā€œ but honestly I havenā€™t picked up a pool that has been properly maintained yet! They always seem alright until I start diving into the startup. Iā€™m finding tabs in the skimmer baskets, completely unbalanced water chemistry, but this startup had them all beat. ā€œProfessionally maintained ā€œ for a year! skimmer was clogged with some type of granules, never had proper salinity for salt chlorinator to operate instead using tab float, set to run only 3hrs a day, pump basket still had debris from when pool was plastered, filter did not appear to be regularly serviced, but worst of all the vacuum port flap was on a return, leaving the actual vacuum port completely opened!!! We have to do better ppl! Get trained get certified the customers deserve better! So glad to have the opportunity to get this awesome family squared away with a Doing Swell Pool!
