This was a very recent review we received. It appears she wasn’t there herself to witness this and I didn’t receive a phone call unless she called the number for the dry cleaners and in that case no one was there after 4pm. I can not stress enough how the laundromat is a public place and it’s one where we don’t have someone sitting there watching every person come in and out. Bottom line on that is if we have to have an attendant policing everyone from 6am to 9pm every day then we will have to raise prices. We expect everyone that comes in to be on their best behavior and treat our property and the other people using the facility with respect. Unfortunately that is not what happens. People leave messes, damage our property, and don’t respect the space. Over the last 5 years I have become more aware of the fact that there are people in our community who don’t have all the resources they need. While I do not condone someone washing their hair in the sink, im also not going to condemn them for doing something that they felt was necessary for them to feel like a human. I can only hope that if I was at a point that the only option I had was to wash my hair in a sink in a public place that I would be shown some compassion and grace instead of judgement. With that being said if you are using the laundromat and see something that you don’t feel comfortable with don’t hesitate to call the number on the change machine. If you feel that it’s something thay would make you want to leave a 1 star review definitely call me to see if there is something that i can do to fix the issue. If you see something illegal call the Marshall PD.

After five years of operating the dry cleaning business, I’ve decided it’s time to change direction and pursue a new path. I’ve truly enjoyed meeting and serving customers from Marshall, Paris, and the surrounding areas, and I’m grateful for your support over the years.

As many of you know, the demand for traditional dry-cleaning services has declined as more businesses move toward casual and wash-and-wear attire. With that in mind, we’ve made the decision to close the dry-cleaning portion of our operation.

Important dates to note:
• January 12 will be the last day to drop off dry cleaning
• January 23 will be the last day to drop off shirts
• The dry-cleaning operation will officially close on January 30

If you still have items here after that date, Barb will be onsite a couple of days each week while cleaning the laundromat, or you may call or text me to make pickup arrangements.

We’re hopeful that this change will allow us to focus more time and resources on the laundromat and possibly make some upgrades in the future.

The dry cleaners will be closed December 24-26th, we will reopen on December 29th.

I will be out all next week so there will not be any dry cleaning done. Regular shirt service and drop off laundry will continue as usual. If you have anything that you need dry cleaned before Christmas it needs to be dropped off this week.
