Hi all, current status of the facilities:

Both carwash bays are down. Will advise when they are running again. There is an orange cone in each bay to indicate that they an out of service.

The dog wash is fixed! Just got the parts installed this morning. $3.50 for 5 minutes.

One vac is working. Awaiting parts for the 2nd vac.

Hi all! Quick update:

Bay #2 at the carwash is operational.
Bay #1 (closest to Hwy 65) is not.

Remember to drop in one quarter at a time, and please use quarters only.

Chiggers Car Wash IS open! The first two bays are up and running as well as one vacuum.

Parts are on back order to get the dog wash and second vacuum going. Also we are working on a change machine, ETA is TBD.

A happy car is a clean car! We appreciate each and every one of our customers!

For our valued customers:

Vacuum is up and running again. Second vacuum will be back in operation, we are waiting on a part on backorder —ETA is the first week of November.

Air compressor is installed and brushes are foamy again.

We HAVE had another nickel jam the coin slots since my post last week. Please remember to use ONLY US quarters and to allow each coins to drop before inserting the next quarter.

Anyone needing reimbursement, please stop by the laundromat on the square, we would be happy to reimburse you.

TGIF! Couple of updates:

New compressor will be installed tmr, so the brushes will be foamy again

Vacuum has gone down, was working perfectly earlier this week. Working on diagnosing that problem.

So for anyone out there that is confused as to what a “quarter” is…below is a photo for our more visual learners.

Please use ONLY UNITED STATES QUARTERS in the carwash bays, dog wash AND vacuums. Any other coin will cause a jam.

To keep prices low we opted to stay with coin payment, replacing only the coin slides inside the boxes. We can always switch to electronic payment but the prices will be double or triple current prices of $1.50 for carwash and $0.75 for vacuum.

Please be considerate of other customers and use only US quarters.

If the posted directions are followed, the equipment works perfectly.

Okay guys, this vandalism at the carwash needs to stop or we will be forced to close up shop.

—insert one quarter at a time, waiting for the previous coin to drop
—quarters only
—do not use hammers/tools to break off the on/off switch (I can’t believe this has to be said)
—contact us here on messenger if there is a malfunction or you need to be reimbursed.
—24hr cameras are being installed ASAP

As it stands, both carwash bays are out of order thanks to this most recent vandalism.
