Dan is back from a much needed break. Now, this break also included flying to Texas, driving a u-haul for family up (there and home within 30 hours), finished siding our garage, installing a hot water heater, and 2 days of family time. For that to be a BREAK is a testament to Dan's work ethic and dedication. See what I mean though? He's gotta slow down!

Now to clarify, we aren't shutting down, just scaling back with a focus on commercial work. As always, we appreciate the referrals and recommendations!

Life has been humbling lately. Kids grow fast, time is short, and tomorrow isn't promised.
Dan has worked two full time jobs for the past 7 years so I could stay home with our babies. Any parent can see how this would take away precious time where we can be together as a family.
All Seasons is taking on a new role. We are going to be transitioning to more commercial based work. That being said, we are going to be liquidating a lot of our equipment that is used in more residential type jobs. This isn't to say we can't still do residential cleaning, we are just going to be operating on a smaller scale using different equipment and techniques, staying a lot closer to our home base.
I feel like to ward off the rumor mill, this post is necessary. This isn't because we haven't been successful. We are grateful for each and every one of you- we built this from the ground up! But, we want more family time. That's our only reason for this downsize. Family time. Please don't be offended if we turn down work. Maybe someday, we will be back at it full force! But right now, this is what is best for us.

Now, start praying for warmer days and let's enjoy summer!

Fellow clients and future clients-
Due to family obligations, I will be responding to new carpet cleaning inquires on May 25th. I will be off the remainder of the week. I apologize but we need to take the week off. We are starting to book into July regardless- so hang tight- I will reply on the 25th. Thanks!

As much as we don't want to...
Due to the large increase in operating costs/fuel prices, we will be implementing a $25 travel fee for outlying areas (Gwinn, Negaunee, Marquette, Iron Mountain, Munising)... Basically areas that are over 45 miles from our home base.
Hopefully if prices go back down, we can remove this charge ASAP. We don't take these decisions lightly- but in order to keep operating, we have to adjust.

Does not apply to appointments already quoted/scheduled.

How to avoid the travel fee- SIMPLE! If you were to refer a friend who ALSO BOOKS ON THE SAME DAY in the same area and both appointments are fulfilled (no last minute cancellations), we will waive the travel fee. It helps us stay busy in one area vs driving all over, and it will save you $$, too.

We are packed up and ready for the next flood mitigation.
A lot of bigger companies won't take on jobs that don't have insurance coverage.
All Seasons will work with you, coverage or not.

I cannot stress this enough. If you see water coming in, it's not going to STOP until the weather breaks. Don't assume your belongings *might* be ok. MOVE THEM OUT, especially if you don't have insurance coverage for this.

One of the things that sets us apart is our subsurface extractor.
Our carpet cleaning process isn't just steam cleaning. This tool is just one of our tools to get down to the soiling that occurs deep in the pad. An off the shelf unit or just steaming the top of the carpet won't get to the root of the smell or stain.
Also, being a water mitigation company, it helps us to sometimes save carpeting vs having to do a tear out.

Check on your basements. They may need you.
***What can you do if water is coming in?***
If you want your belongings saved, start moving them out. Restoration companies are at capacity so if you can get things moved out- you are one step ahead of the game.
Make sure your sump is in working order.
Make sure your gutters are clear and free of debris and extend them far out from the house- at least 10 feet (but, don't flood your neighbor.)
Pray for sunshine.

FLOOD AREA RESIDENTS!
Even if you are doing your own water removal to stay on it- it doesn't take much for conditions to be just right for mold to take hold.
Call us. Dan is IICRC WRT Certified and can handle the tear out, dry out, and treatment!
Spots are very limited- call to get on the list ASAP.
