Today, we bid a fond farewell to a truly remarkable individual, a shining star whose love and light touched my heart in profound ways. She transcended the title of client, becoming family, a cherished friend, and a grandmotherly figure I adored. Her sweetness, humor, and generosity inspired me, as did her thoughtfulness in ensuring I had snacks and my favorite candy. With loving concern, she'd remind me to slow down and nourish myself. My heart aches for her family, but I'm comforted by the memories we shared. While she was in the hospital she wrote this note that brought tears to my eyes 😭. Until we meet again, Sitti Carolyn Smith, I'll treasure our moments together and hold you dear in my heart, forever cherishing our love.
