What is it Wednesday?!?!
This week we are featuring our collision pad.
This pad lays at the very end of the tunnel and is on the outside of the building. It is a very important piece of our wash!
Ever been in the wash and it just all of a sudden turn off? Well 99% of the time it’s because of this piece of equipment. It is there to protect you as the customer.
Its purpose is to keep the cars at a safe distance and to prevent one from colliding into the other. If someone sits overtop of that pad it will sense it and shut the whole wash down until they pull off of it. If they sit there too long we then have to go to the back and flip a switch which also makes us look and see that the customer has driven off and is no longer sitting there.
