Today I had a gentle reminder of one of my "why's".
To you this may just look like a old milk crate on wheels and a small laundry basket but to one person this represents his independence. I have been helping this gentleman with his laundry for a little over a year and half and next week he is moving into a nursing home where they will provide this service for him. He had been able to continue to live on his own until now with the help of a few small tasks like laundry. His business has been priceless to me and I will miss our visits. But today my heart is full having met my friend and knowing that I was able to help him even for a little while 🧺❤️
