More places to look for bed bugs:

Clutter! On the floors, in your closet, on bookselves. Anyplace that looks like a good hiding spot. Remember these guys are ninjas!

And last but not least... if you are seeing bite marks on your body, you could have bed bugs. Look for straight lines... red, swollen areas, kinda like mosquito bites. And remember that not all family members will show signs of bite marks...

More places to look for bed bugs...

Check your box spring. Slowly lift it up and look at the bottom of it. These little guys like the dark. Also make sure to check under the lining. They are tiny little ninjas!

Check along the top and undersides of your bed frame. This is close to you and a place that you don't look or disturb often.

Start with your mattress. Grab a really good flashlight. Start up by the headboard. Look at your seams and check them very well, also check your pillows!

Check your bedding for dark brown or reddish blood spots. Make sure to check all sheets, comforters, dust ruffles, mattresses.

Vacuum frequently to remove any successful hitchhikers.

Be vigilant when using shared laundry facilities. Transport items to be washed in plastic bags (if you have an active infestation, use a new bag for the journey home). Remove from dryer directly into bag and fold at home. (A dryer on high heat can kill bed bugs.)
