🚨 What’s Hiding Along Your Walk? 🚨

I spotted this tick today clinging to tall grass growing along a public sidewalk.

This is exactly why we remind people that ticks aren’t just in the woods anymore. Overgrown grass, unmaintained edges, and vegetation along sidewalks, parks, and trails can all become places where ticks wait for a person or pet to brush by.

A few quick reminders:
🌿 Stay toward the center of sidewalks and trails whenever possible.
👖 Wear light-colored clothing so ticks are easier to spot.
🦮 Check yourself, your kids, and your pets after every walk.
✂️ Keep grass and vegetation trimmed around your own property.

It only takes a split second for a tick to hitch a ride.
