Employee of the month. Maxwell, aka Maxhole. Always ready to add to phone conversations and tell me what I'm doing wrong, and of course scream when it's inconvenient.

Joint effort with our friends from Teatown and the DEC to rescue a downed eagle who fell into the Croton River. Down a steep ravine, using a rope to be able to climb back up with the eagle. She's now at the amazing Brewster Veterinary being cared for. Pictures in the first comment

This poor guy got himself all wrapped up 😞. Luckily, someone saw him and called us. He wasn't very happy with me cutting the netting off, but was on his way in no time at all.

This afternoon we received a call from a gentleman on the bike trail in Carmel near Old Rte 6 about an injured hawk. Turns out it was actually a juvenile eagle. He/she is now at Brewster Veterinary, and if they make it, will go to our friends at Green Chimneys. Thank you to Gregory for making the call, Brewster Veterinary for always taking the wild things, and Green Chimneys for doing what you do!

Lucky for this guy, someone saw that he was injured and called us. He/she is being treated at Brewster Veterinary.

This little nugget was hit by a car last night and ended up on a concerned residents doorstep. We were able to secure him, and he was seen by a local Vet. There are no broken bones, just some trauma for which he has pain meds and antibiotics. He's off to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator where he will be cared for until he is able to be released back to the wild.
