Try to keep the foundation area free of debris. Clutter will eventually cause pest issues. Everything from roaches, earwigs to rodents. When you have a pest problem, chemical is not always the answer initially. One of the easiest ways for insects to enter your home is right through the front door. Check your front, back and garage doors for any daylight coming through. If you see daylight around your doors, that is plenty of room for insects to enter. Carpenter ants are a real problem especially during the warmer months. The problems they cause can go unnoticed for extended periods of time. Carpenter ants are wood destroying insects. General pest control will not fix a carpenter ant issue. Carpenter ants typically live outside relatively close to the home. I have found them in the hollow of and oak, underneath a wood pile, etc. They will not nest or colonize in the home unless you have a water leak. They need a certain percentage of moisture to survive indoors. However, they will visit your home and destroy the wood. Signs of an issue is seeing the insect itself. • Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds;
• Be able to manipulate hoses between 100-300 feet long;
• Be able to read and follow label directions and perform basic math functions to properly mix different pest products;
• Must have a stable work history;
• Good attendance record;
• Punctual to appointments;
• Detail oriented;
• Eager to learn;
• Must be able maintain a clean truck, equipment, and uniform;
• Have a neat appearance to work inside customers' homes;
• Have a great work ethic;
• Must be able to navigate a day to day pest control route;
• Diagnose pest problems and discuss the scope of pest control services with customers;
• Be responsible for submitting legible, clear and accurate service tickets to office personnel;
• Must be located within 20 miles of 2978 and Woodlands Parkway;
• Work week is Monday through Friday with the occasional Saturday;
• Pest control experience preferred.

Hourly Rate: $14-$15 per hour. If your work ethic is great, your wage will increase.
