To achieve a streak-free finish, consider turning off lights before cleaning mirrors, as the heat generated by the light can cause your cleaning solution to dry too quickly, resulting in streaks. Let's discuss a critical aspect of bathroom maintenance.
Have you ever wondered about the pink or yellowish discoloration on your shower curtain liner or shower curtain? It's actually mold.
To prevent mold and mildew buildup, consider replacing your shower curtain liner every 6 to 12 months.
Additionally, ensure you close your curtain after showering to allow water to drain completely.
Applying hydrogen peroxide to the bottom of the curtain or liner can also inhibit mold growth. For optimal results, apply once a week. However, exercise caution when using hydrogen peroxide on colored fabrics, as it may cause bleaching.
To extend the life of your liner or curtain, wash it periodically in a washing machine and air dry.
