These terms are used interchangeably, but they don't necessarily mean the same thing.
Resurfacing generally focuses on replacing the pool's interior finish.

Would you prioritize a built-in spa, a shallow lounging area, additional in-water seating, or full-length steps?

There's no universal winner. The right answer depends on what you would actually use.

It's an interesting exercise because it forces you to think beyond appearances.
