Thank you to the Machias Police Department for your time in locating and arresting those responsible for the break-in and damage.

UPDATE!!!
The Machias Police Department has arrested and charged two individuals as a result of a lengthy investigation in response to a reported burglary at the Bluebird Car Wash on 4/30/2025.
Arrested: Nicholas Johnson 41yrs old from
Machias.
Shawn Johnson 47 yrs old from
Machias.
Both men were charged with felony burglary and theft as well as misdemeanor criminal mischief.
Both are currently incarcerated at the Washington County Jail.

Due to a burglary and damage to our maintenance room and Autobay teller kiosk, we are closed until further notice. This includes the Automatic Bay and the Vacuums. If anyone saw or heard any abnormal activity at the Car Wash from Sunday at 6:00 pm to this morning at 8:00 am, to please provide the information to the Motel and/or Machias Police Department.

Management apologizes for the inconvenience, but this was out of our control.
